I founded Super Heated to solve a real problem I experienced: I had a ton of records stored on IKEA Kallax shelving and it was impossible to keep it organized and neatly displayed. My shelves are affordable, sturdy, and are a great option for storing records, but the open back meant my vinyl could easily push out the back and look pretty unruly over time. The small print on the spines of my records meant that I had to spend more time sifting through my collection to find the right music for the moment.

Enthusiasts like me had come up with pragmatic solutions for this including everything from weather stripping to pool noodles. But most of them required applying permanent adhesives to the shelves or, even worse, drilling holes. Pool noodles were not the aesthetic I wanted and I didn't want to start damaging my shelves in ways that would make it harder to reuse, or even sell, my shelves in the future.

The end result is an array of backspacers, shelf tags and display stands that can help keep your collection as attractive as it was affordable. Made in Seattle by someone who loves music as much as you do, I think they are the perfect accessories for collectors everywhere.
